“The One After the Super Bowl,” the two-parter in Season Two, was pretty much universally panned, and for good reason. It was so overstuffed with guest stars (although Brooke Shields’ Erika is in the first part and is amazing), and the storylines weren’t even that good. Julia Roberts’ character, Susie, who gets revenge on Chandler, was a waste of her talents, and Fred Willard’s zookeeper role is just strange. But the worst? Jean-Claude Van Damme.

I mean, part of it is the plot of Rachel and Monica fighting over him, even after he turns out to be a giant asshole, but the majority of it is that his acting is just so bad. Like, worse than his normal acting, and that’s saying something. And I like JCVD movies, for the cheese factor if nothing else, but his turn on Friends couldn’t even be saved by those good graces.
