Before I get into today’s challenge, I just wanna wish my mother the happiest of birthdays! My brain is all microbioed out, so I’m not gonna do the math, but I’m pretty sure she’s okay with that. She’s not on any social media other than Facebook, so just send out some positive vibes for the woman who brought me into this world.

But onto Day 7! Gabrielle had the larger number of wardrobe changes of the two leads, which tracks pretty well, seeing as she grows into herself more than Xena does. I’m not saying that Xena doesn’t change throughout the show; she does, and Gabrielle plays no small role in her development into a better person. But that’s for another discussion.

The most famous outfit of Gabby’s is definitely this one:

This outfit is specifically used in an episode of Reboot, arguably one of my favorite episodes of that show, and you had to be pretty iconic to show up as a parody there.

But outside of that costume, Gabrielle seems to be given the kookier and vaguely culturally appropriative ones:

It’s the patchwork shearling coat that just does it for me. I would buy that coat in an instant, you guys.
