The word PARADISO written across an art deco background with stars behind it

Paradiso Challenge, Day 17

Adjectives to describe Paradiso

Well, this is harder than it seems, seeing as I’ve been staring at my screen for the last fifteen minutes without any progress. It’s always easier to describe other people’s works: Battlestar Galactica is gritty yet hopeful, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is quippy and irreverent, Bob’s Burgers is wholesome and witty …

But when you’re asked to describe your own projects? I definitely don’t want to sound grandiose or overzealous, but boring isn’t a vibe I want, either.

So what is Paradiso? It examines loneliness, power, self-discovery, family, lies, corporate greed … I could go on for pages here. But as far as adjective description goes, that’s a little harder, because it describes my writing as well as its themes.

Harsh, unapologetic, dystopian but not quite apocalyptic, introspective, darkly humorous (at times) …

I can’t really go much further than that, but hopefully very soon, I’ll get some people to tell me what they think its adjectives are.
