I know that it says that this is for fantasy indie writers (and that it’s for March), but I kind of like the idea of exploring my characters and story in this way. Plus, sci-fi is just a different form of fantasy, and honestly, isn’t all fiction fantasy?? Since there are only thirty days in April, though, I eliminated the entry for “prophecy” since it doesn’t really apply to Paradiso. Not that prophecy can’t have a place in sci-fi – Star Trek: Deep Space Nine handled it so well – but there’s no mention of prophecy in my story, so it felt right to not half-ass a post.
But anyway, this month is going to be so much fun! I might have some shorter entries because, well, I work between three and four 12-hour shifts a week, but hopefully, by the end of April, you’ll be just as excited about Paradiso as I am. I don’t have any character art or anything yet, but that is definitely coming soon. Well, soon-ish; life stuff has come up and I’ve got to focus on it a little bit more than drawing and painting, but after that’s all resolved? Oh, it’s on.
