Why?

I’ll tell you why – it’s fucking finals week. I feel like never, ever in my personal history have I spent this much effort studying for exams. Or for, like, anything. I mean, it’s important that I know this stuff because I’ll be taking care of people, but seriously … I can only imagine what my GPA would have been if I spent my first college go-’round with this much enthusiasm and dedication. I probably could have graduated early, too.

Oh, well.

I’ve been spending too much time regretting the past, so I guess it’s time to actually move on instead of pretending that I’m okay with the stupid shit I did when I was younger.

Wait, does this mean I’m growing?

Meh, I’ll think about it after my last final.

Nursing school is hard, in case anyone was wondering.

One of my classmates came up with this idea for a Power Pose, a superhero standing position (with your hands on your hips) as some type of hype-up song plays in the background (we do this before tests because we are dorks), and honestly? I love the idea. It’s like pregaming for a night out, except that it’s for a test that takes place at 0800 and involves you remembering things instead of forgetting them.

And since finals week is next week … somehow? I figure it’s best to get myself pumped up as much as I possibly can. Plus, I need that emotional momentum to get through the last couple of projects I have due by Friday and Saturday. Now, my list below is definitive, and I will take no guff for my choices.
